フライト管理アプリ「App in the Air」がサービス終了してから、TripIt有料版を使い始めた。
TripItの有料年間サブスクが、「App in the Air」ユーザー向けに半額で提供されていたのだ。
通常49ドル/年が、24ドル/年になった形。
フライト管理のアプリ「App in the Air」がサービス終了、移行先はTripItかFlighty？
最近気がついたんだが、TripItが「App in the Air」のデータ・インポートに対応していた。
ただし、現在は有料Pro版のユーザーのみ対応。

1. First, export your data from App in the Air.
- Launch the App in the Air app on your mobile device
- Tap on the Profile tab, located at the bottom right of your screen
- In your profile, tap the Settings icon in the top right corner of the screen
- Scroll down through the settings until you reach the Other section at the very bottom of the page
- Tap Export Data and specify the email you would like to receive a .txt file of your App in the Air Data
2. Then, once you have created a TripIt account, simply forward the exported .txt file from App in the Air to support@tripit.com, and we’ll add the trips to your account. You’ll receive a confirmation once the process is complete.
Note that we will honor the previous file import requests from TripIt Free users submitted prior to September 24, 2024. Thank you for your patience as we work through the queue.
「App in the Air」のログファイルは、データ終了時に取得したモノが残っている。
そのログファイルをメールで添付すれば、インポートしてくれるとのこと。
tripitのサポートにメールしたところ･･･
翌日には「完了したよ！」と回答がきた。

早速アプリで確認したところ、ちゃんとデータが取り込まれていた。
ただ、フライト1本が「1旅程」という形で取り込まれていた。
通常だと、フライトの往復で「1旅程」。
そのため、ちまちまと手作業で「往路と復路のフライトを1つにまとめる」というのをする必要があった。
とりあえず、その作業も終わった。
有料版を継続するか？
TripItの有料版、初年度は24ドルだったワケだが、そろそろ1年目が終了する。
2年目からは、49ドル/年になる。
これを継続するか、どうするかな。
TripIt自体は使い続ける予定だけど、有料版はちょっと考えないといけない。
49ドルは、ちとハードル高いよな～。
一応、去年のブラックフライデーではTripItも半額セールをやっていたので、とりあえず今年のセール待ちもするとして。

TripIt有料版の肝は、リアルタイムアラートの有無。
ただまぁ、フライトのリアルタイムアラートって、航空会社公式のアプリでもとれたりはするしね。。。
他にも有料機能はちらほらあるけど･･･
そこら辺を、どう考えるか。
また検討しようかと思います。

私は「App in the Air」がサービス終了してから「byAir」を使っています。最初は「TripIt」を使用していましたが、フライトの記録だけ取りたかったのに機能が多すぎたため有料版も解約しました。逆に「byAir」は最初はいまいちでしたが、どんどんアップデートされて今では「App in the Air」とほとんど同じになりました。

自分もインストールしましたが、結局まだ使わず。
tripitとflightyでやってましたが、自分はホテルも含めて管理したいので、tripitを中心に使っていこうかなと思ってます。
あとtripitだと国内旅行の新幹線とか、（稀に）空港からのバスの自動取り込みにも対応してるので、そこらへんもありますが。
